SuperSport Zone who host the Kaizer Chiefs website have agreed to throw in a prize for an Online Player of the Season award, which will be handed out at the annual Kaizer Chiefs players awards held at the end of the season.

This year the ceremony will be held on the 23rd May, and SuperSport will be handing over a prize to the value of R10 000 to the player voted by visitors to www.kaizerchiefs.com as the online player of the season.

Each month supporters have been given the opportunity to vote on the website for their player of the month. At the end of the season the nine monthly winners will enter the poll for the Online Player of the year award.

This will be a new category at the Players awards as an online player of the year award will be handed out for the first time in 2006. Supporters will be allowed to vote for the May player of the month until midnight on the 20th May.

From the 09h00 on the 21st May up until 15h00 on the 22nd May supporters may than choose from the nine monthly winners to decide who will walk away with this coveted award.

The lucky player will win a new PVR Decoder fully fitted at their home or any other venue of their choice with a free DSTV Subscription for a year.

The total value of the prize is R 10 000.
