The seven Kaizer Chiefs players who were called up to the national team for a mini camp in Johannesburg as part of preparations for the 2004 Nations Cup returned to Naturena on Tuesday.

The seven, former national under-23 midfielder Jabu Pule, World Cup defender Cyril Nzama, goalkeeper Brian Baloyi, Stanton Fredericks, David Radebe and Amakhosi newcomers Jabulani Mendu and Patrick Mayo, have been in camp with Bafana since Sunday. Jabulane Mendu was allowed to join the Bafana camp despite a niggling ankle injury.

They return to the Amakhosi camp just in time as the team prepares for the opening Premiership encounter against Sundowns at Ellis Park on Sunday.
