Vladimir Vermezovic believes that a lack of luck and the performance of the opposite goalkeeper (Darren Keet) contributed to the second successive loss the Club suffered against Bidvest Wits on Wednesday night.

Chiefs once again created number of opportunities and had their penalty saved deep in the stoppage time.

“I don’t know what we need to do to score,” said the calm, cool and collected Serbian responding to questions about Club’s failure to score in three league games this season.

“My players worked very hard here tonight but things did not go our way. We missed lot of chances but also you also have to give credit to Bidvest Wits goalkeeper who was outstanding for them. He did not have best of games last time we met them but today he is a hero,” said Vermezovic.

The Glamour Boys travel to Durban this coming weekend for a meeting with AmaZulu and the Serbian speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Thursday morning he remained optimistic.

“We have about 27 games to go so we are not dropping our heads. We are going to continue working hard at training until we get things right. We have committed bunch of players and it is a matter of time before we hit the back of the net on a regular basis,”

Vermezovic once again poured water on suggestion that the Club might sign few players before the window closes this weekend.

“I have said before that I am happy with the players that we have and we will not be signing any players at least for now,” he concluded.
