Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Reneilwe Letsholonyane has told kaizerchiefs.com that he and Bafana Bafana teammates are confident of beating neighbours, Zambia on Tuesday night. The two sides will meet in an international friendly at Super Stadium. Kick off for the game is at 20h30.

“It is very important that we beat Zambia on Tuesday,” said the Soweto born midfielder.

“We all know that they are a good team with very good players. They can cause lot of problems for us but we are confident of beating them come Tuesday night,”

This will be Yeye’s second call to the national team after he was called up last year in a friendly match against Malawi.

“My call up shows that I am doing something right in my game. It is very important that I continue working hard in improving all areas of my game,” said the player who scored the winning penalty as Chiefs won the Wafa-Wafa Tournament last year.

Reneilwe believes that the upcoming game is an opportunity for fringe players to show the national coach, Joel Santana that they have what it takes to don the national team jersey more often.

“The win is very important for many reasons. It is important that the national team keeps on winning games to win fans confidence. It is also important that we impress the national team coach ahead of what promises to be a gruelling year for the national team,” he added.
