The Club would like to call on all Amakhosi faithful and football loving fraternity to enjoy the much anticipated Nedbank Cup Final as scheduled to take place on Saturday, 25 May 2013 at 15:00 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

At the same time the Club would like to encourage the supporters to observe the letter of discipline throughout Saturday in and around Moses Mabhida Stadium and at every places where the supporters will be watching and listening to this potential explosive encounter.

Kaizer Chiefs Corporate Communications Manager commented on the upcoming finale; “Foremost the match is sold out affair. We have received information that there are people who insist they will be making their way to Moses Mabhida without tickets. We are collaborating with the relevant stakeholders to ensure that perpetrators are stopped in their tracks not to come closer to the stadium. It is in everybody’s best interest to avoid chaos at the stadium for the good of the game and safety of the people. The message we are passing here is clear, do not come closer to the stadium if you do not have a valid ticket.”

“There are other activities lined up around Moses Mabhida Stadium and the adjacent Kings Park Stadium which requires everybody to cooperate with the authorities to allow a smooth logistical flow”; concluded a visibly confident Maphosa.
