Kaizer Chiefs legend, Patrick 'Ace' Ntsoelengoe was among the recipients of The Order of Ikhamanga in Silver award posthumously, in a ceremony conducted by the President of the Republic, Kgalema Motlanthe held at Union Buildings in Pretoria on Tuesday.



The National Orders are being awarded to outstanding South Africans who have made a valuable contribution in their respective fields.



Ace was honoured for, “his excellent achievement in the game of football locally and abroad and contributing to the development of football in South Africa”.



The Maestro played for Kaizer Chiefs from 1970-1989. He was a member of North American League National Soccer Hall of Fame having played there in the 70s and 80s.
