Kaizer Chiefs young sensation, George Lebese has vowed to continue fighting for his place in the team. The Pretoria born has been out of the team since last year November, making his last appearance against Amazulu.

The youngster showed a lot of promise when coach, Muhsin Ertugral gave him his first start against Swallows in October - since then he has not set the scene alight.

“The problem has been my level of fitness. I have always struggled with fitness since my days at the lower level. I did not have a break during the holidays. I trained almost everyday, working on endurance and other areas of my body,” he said.

“Finidi” as the player is affectionately known told kaizerchiefs.com that he is getting a lot of support from the technical team and his teammates.

“The coach is pushing me to work hard at training so are my teammates. I want to be back in the team and when the coach gives me an opportunity I will grab it."
