The distortions around Louis Agyemang's acquisition are destabilizing his training and obviously his focus. Negative perceptions that he is not legally in our books are compounding a situation that management is trying very hard to resolve.

For the record, Louis is indeed training with Chiefs whilst all administrative and legal matters towards his final registration are completed. This does not imply that Chiefs is in a legal tug-of-war or the player is at a centre of a row between the two clubs.

In effect, Chiefs had entered into correspondence with the club the moment the player was identified as a suitable striker. In the meantime, the coach had expressed interest in securing his services and that of the defender from Bloemfontein. The good news is Hearts of Oak have accepted the offer from Kaizer Chiefs. We are now currently sorting out his international clearance and will thereafter engage him (Louis) on our offer.

Apart from him, there are several other players that Chiefs are closely observing who may don the famous black and gold. These are also undergoing training and trials and the team may soon determine their fate. Otherwise there is an effort to once more solidify Chiefs into a mean machine for the 2005/6 Season.
