Kaizer Chiefs goalminder, Itumeleng has told kaizerchiefs.com that he and his teammates are ready for the mouth-watering encounter against Ajax Cape Town on Saturday. Kick off for the game to be played at Athlone Stadium is at 15h30.

Ajax Cape Town is currently lying on second spot in the log with one point ahead of Amakhosi who have collected 29 points and lying on fourth spot in the log.

“This is a do or die game for us,” said Itumeleng Khune who also doubles as Bafana Bafana goalkeeper.

“We need to beat Ajax (Cape Town) to go to the second spot and ahead of them in the log. It is very important that we don’t allow them to stretch the lead. So we have to go all out and beat them in their own backyard,”

“The fact that they have lost their last two games will not mean anything on Saturday. I believe they will be more dangerous than before because every team that we face always want to prove a point. Ajax has been playing well and we know they are going to come to us. We beat them at Loftus Stadium early this season so they will want to turn the tables this time around but we are ready for them,” he said.

“Itu” has warned that it is to early for people to start talking about winning the championship, “If we win against Ajax we will put ourselves in a good position in the title race. I cannot talk now about winning the league, all I can say is that it is very important that we keep our momentum. We have started the very well winning three games in a row.
