Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira told a press on Friday morning after a South African training session at the BIDVest Stadium in Johannesburg that he expects to start Amakhosi goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, when Bafana Bafana take to the field on Saturday afternoon at the Super Stadium in Attrideville for their final warm up before the World Cup. Their opponents will be fellow World Cup finalists Denmark.

"Khune will start after Moeneeb made some good appearances Khune recovered very quickly" joked South African coach Parreira, in reference to an injury which the Chiefs keeper picked up during a friendly game for Bafana against Colombia at Soccer City on May 27.

Moeneeb Josephs deputized in goals for Khune in the second half of the game against Colombia and played the full ninety minutes against Guatemala this past Monday. Parreira was glad to have such fierce competition in his team and believes it shows the strength of his squad.

The Brazilian said, "when we needed Moeneeb he came came up with good performances and said coach I am here. Khune and Tshepo Masilela have been training and will start against Denmark".
