Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs no. 1 goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune told kaizerchiefs.com on Wednesday that Kenya will go all out to defend their pride when the two sides square up in a friendly international at Royal Bafokeng Sports Stadium in Rustenburg on Wednesday night.

Khune who has been joined by two other club teammates in the national team, Siphiwe Tshabalala and Reneilwe Letsholonyane said; “We are expecting a difficult game this evening because no national team can go on holiday in another country. Kenya has equally good players who are playing locally and abroad,”

“Preparations for the game have gone well and the spirit in the camp is high. We all want to do well for the country and we know that this game is a dress rehearsal for a crucial fixture against Egypt in March,” he said.

Khune also took time to wish his friend and Bafana Bafana teammate, Tshepo Masilela a speedy recovery. The flying left-back is in the camp with his teammates and has been forced to miss out due to long term injury on his knee.

“I was the first to meet him when he arrived here in camp and gave him a hug. We really miss him. His experienced will be really missed in the next couple of games. I have no doubt that he will bounce back and I would like to wish him a speedy recovery."

“I also know that the players who have been called up on his place are good players and will do the job for the national team,” added the Ventersdorp born goalkeeper.

Kick off for the game is at 20:30.
