Khune and Tshabalala to face Indomitable Lions

Itumeleng Khune and Siphiwe Tshabalala both joined the national team camp on Monday morning as both players were named in the squad to face Cameroon in the Nelson Mandela Challenge by Bafana Bafana coach, Joel Natalino Santana.



The match to honour world icon Dr. Nelson Mandela will be played on the 19th November in Rustenburg’s Olympia Stadium. Kick off is at 19h30.



Cameroon currently rated no. 1 in Africa and no.12 in the world is expected to bring an array of stars including golden boy, Samuel E’to.



Meanwhile, Michael “Ace” Nkambule has been in the national development team to play against Zimbabwe on the weekends, 23rd and 30th November respectively. The SAFA development team that includes fringe players in the Premier League and first division players is under the guidance of U20 coach, Serame Letsoaka.



Also good news for the team is a call up to development players, Bongani Sondlane and Lucky Xulu. Both players will represent the National U20, Amajita in the upcoming Zone VI games in North West Province from 3rd -12th December 2008.
