Khune and Tshabalala called up for the crucial tie against Super Eagles

Kaizer Chiefs duo, goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala have both been named by Bafana Bafana coach, Joel Santana to the squad to face Nigeria in a do or die game against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Port Elizabeth on 6 September 2006.



Both players took part in an inspiring international friendly against the Socceroos of Australia last Tuesday. Also making a come back to the squad is former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper, Rowen Fernandez who missed the trip to London while former Chiefs fans favourite, Siyabonga Nkosi has managed to keep his place in the squad after an impressive performance.



Second placed in Group Four, Bafana Bafana needs to win their last two games to stand any chance of qualifying for 2010 African Cup of Nations to be played in Angola.
