Kaizer Chiefs midfield sensation Junior Khanye was on target as the South African national under-20 side - Amajita - drew 1-1 with Angola in the Cosafa Youth Championship at Orlando Stadium on Tuesday.

While Angola, who are tipped to win the competition, have already qualified for the semifinals after pocketing 10 points from their four Group C matches, Amajita will have to beat Mozambique convincingly in Orlando on Wednesday to proceed to the last four stage of the competition.

South Africa have themselves to blame after failing to pocket the three points in a game watched by various prominent administrators, including Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter.

The two goals were scored in the first half.

Khanye scored for the home side in the 16th minute while Angola replied through Graciano Lourenco in the 43rd minute.
