The Kaizer Chiefs under-15 team was presented with their new Nike soccer kit yesterday, ahead of the 2004 Manchester United Premier Cup, taking place from 02-05 August in Manchester, England.

The Kaizer Chiefs senior team were also present at the kit handover, as Nike paid tribute to their 2003-2004 PSL success.

The Kaizer Chiefs under-15 team came out as South African champions after beating Black Tigers 3-1 in the national finals in April 2004.

The team comprises 16 players from various communities around Gauteng and includes Tebogo Tshabalala who was voted 'Goalkeeper of the Tournament' and Kabelo Tembo, voted 'Most Promising Player' for the South African leg of the Nike Premier Cup.

The Manchester United Premier Cup will provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the boys. Not only will they get to visit the vibrant city of Manchester and the hallowed ground of Old Trafford, but so too will they get an opportunity to attend a low-intensity training workshop with the Manchester United squad and to meet Sir Alex Ferguson.
