Kaizer Chiefs withdraw from Engen Tournament

Kaizer Chiefs Management has once again decided to withdraw the Club’s participation from the upcoming Engen Under 17 Tournament. The Club has taken a stance to act against age cheating.

The Kaizer Chiefs Football Club urges the football mother body, South African Football Association to take a stern stance on the ongoing debacle deemed to undermine our efforts to develop football in this country. Age cheating has a potential of destroying the efforts of our country in ensuring that we remain one of the top footballing nations in Africa and abroad.

The Club remains committed to grassroots soccer, in nurturing young players and to the spirit of Fifa Fair Play. We promise to return to the future competitions once Kaizer Chiefs has seen that something tangent is being done to curb age cheating in our football at grassroots level.
