The Amakhosi returns to its coastal happy hunting ground, the Absa Stadium in Durban on Saturday the 25th August 2007 to engage the tough Jomo Cosmos in their second league match of the season.

Chiefs would use the stadium in the 2007/8 Season to host three of its official home league matches whilst renovations to many venues are in progress.

In Cosmos, Chiefs are faced with an uncompromising outfit that is best known for its defensive tactics that are frequently punctuated by bursts of counter attacks. Having drawn and lost against Ezenkosi in the previous season, the host team would certainly want to make amends by consolidating their win against Benoni United in their first outing recently.

An elated Coach Muhsin Ertugral has admitted that the match would not be easy but has prepared an equally determined and a talented squad to match the opposition. Young protégés like Sandile Zuke and Mandla Masango would sure want to impress against their formidable opponents in an encounter that promises to be a thrill-a-minute spectacle. Having secured the tough-as-rock defender Mokete Tsotetsi from their guests, the Amakhosi have surely assembled a team that is poised to challenge for league honours this season.

The evening match that kicks off at 20:00 is expected to attract a capacity crowd of traveling and local Amakhosi supporters that would be entertained by a variety of Maskandi groups. Tickets are available at R20.00 adults and R10.00 juveniles from Computicket outlets and Shoprite Checkers stores throughout the country. Gates would open at 16:00.
