Goalkeeper, Thela Ngobeni and midfielder, Mandla Masango have been named in the preliminary Amajita squad in preparation for the U20 World Cup to take place in Egypt in September later this year.
The two players featured prominently for Serame Letsoaka’s team in Angola early this year and they will be looking at carrying the South African flag once more.
The squad will start camping this week before engaging in couple of friendly games ahead of what promises to be an exciting tournament.
The last time South Africa featured in this tournament was in 1997.
