Kaizer Chiefs U17 had no mercy over the weekend as they gave their opponents, Amathole Football Academy a 6-0 drubbing. Goals from rightback, David Lipondo, defender Ronald Maila, defender Lucky Baloyi, midfielder Kabelo Ledwaba and a brace from striker, Andile Ngxabeni were enough to send Amathole Football Academy under the tutelage of another former Kaizer Chiefs legend Zero Johnson packing.

U17 Coach, Doctor Khumalo was pleased with his players performance, “We had goals coming from defenders, midfield and strikers...everyone must score and this is what we have been working on with the boys."

"Two goals were from set pieces as we also try to get something out of set pieces. I must say it was also nice to catch up with one of Kaizer Chiefs legends, Zero Johnson who was coaching our opponents.”

However, there was not much to cheer about for the Ntsie Maphike’s guided U15 as they had their game abandoned due to one of the Kaizer Chiefs development players, Sibusiso Sibusiso Mkhwanazi sustaining a bad injury.

The Head of Development, Walter Steenbok has revealed to kaizerchiefs.com that the U15 side will get full points. This followed discussions between the two coaches with Dlamini All Blacks F.C. in agreement of the decision to awards full points to Kaizer Chiefs.
