The 09th of December is one of Kaizer Chiefs’ historic landmarks. On this day, Kaizer Chiefs management remembered the launch of the Amakhosi Supporters Club (ASC), which happened a year ago at the fast-growing Dhlamini AMAKHOSI Supporters Centre. The launch saw the Amakhosi faithful reclaiming ownership and pride of the Kaizer Chiefs brand, but more importantly the re-birth of Amakhosi Supporters Club card, which indeed came a long way in ensuring that our major stakeholder, the supporters, are bequeathed with tailor-made benefits which will go a long way in improving their lifestyle, provide them with funeral insurance, giving them huge discounts on educational material and service packages for kids and adults alike.

To date, the ASC has grown into becoming a force to be reckoned with in terms of giving value adding relationship and aftercare to the Amakhosi faithful.

“Since the launch of the Amakhosi Supporters Club last year, my association with Kaizer Chiefs has never been the same. I now have more than one reason why I am a proud card-carrying member of Kaizer Chiefs. I always carry my card around because it gives me value and it is worth having. During Christmas time I used to have headaches on limiting my spend because I needed to save money for the “going back to school” project in January the following year and with my supporters card, I now have piece of mind, because I will have multitudes of discounts when I go to buy educational material for my kids. Viva Amakhosi Supporters Club” said the rejuvenated Ntombomzi Nomajana of the Umtata Supporter Club.

“I will see to it that my card is renewed come the expiry date and I would like to urge my fellow supporters to follow suit. It is worth it,” she concluded.

The Amakhosi Supporters card was among others, made possible by strategic relationship Kaizer Chiefs established with various but crucial benefit partners who deem it necessary that associating with Chiefs was adding value in what the team wanted to achieve with respect to its relations with the supporters.

“The Amakhosi Supporters Club has grown leaps and bounds and not only in terms of numbers but also with respect to the renewed relations and multidimensional benefits which at all times put our supporters in the forefront of everything we do. Our commitment to our supporters is we will work tirelessly to make the Amakhosi Supporters Club card a “must have” to the millions of the Amakhosi faithful. It is for such reasons why we are all hard at work to ensure that supporters membership is renewed ” said Public Relations Manager, Siyabulela “24/7” Makunga.

Key Milestones for the Amakhosi Supporters Club:

• Kaizer Chiefs officially opens The Amakhosi Supporters Club at Dhlamini Centre, attracting supporters from all corners of the country;

• Amakhosi engages in a fully fledged recruitment to all provinces, taking Kaizer Chiefs to the people while showcasing its ability to produce the new supporters card instantly;
