Kaizer Chiefs celebrates its rich heritage at the Soweto Festival

During heritage month of September Kaizer Chiefs together with Standard Bank, its sponsor, is proud to participate in the Soweto Festival.

The Festival is taking place at the University of Johannesburg in Soweto Campus (the old Vista Campus). The event started on Heritage Day,24 September 2008 and will close on 28 September 2008. Last year the festival is reported to have attracted over 43,000 people.



The opening day of the Festival was electrifying, with some Kaizer Chiefs players visiting the Kaizer Chiefs stand and presenting the MTN 8 trophy to Soweto where Kaizer Chiefs originates from. This generated a lot of excitement for all at the Festival.



Come and visit the Kaizer Chiefs stand located in the Youth Zone, and get the opportunity to sign up for membership with the Amakhosi Supporters Club, meet players, legends, and celebrities. Also get a chance to learn more about Kaizer Chiefs and the opportunities in Football.

Celebrations will continue throughout the weekend. Supporters have the chance to win prizes as well as tickets to the weekend game against Ajax Cape Town, on 27 September at Loftus Versveld Stadium.
