After making his first appearance in the gold and black jersey, Zimbabwean left back, Zhiamo Jambo told kaizerchiefs.com that he is looking forward to facing Soweto rivals in the Telkom Charity Cup this coming weekend in Rustenburg.

Kick off for the game is at 12h00 at a revamped Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace.

“It was great to finally don the Kaizer Chiefs jersey against Manchester City on Saturday. To play them was something else but beating them and winning the Vodacom Challenge was special and that memory will always be engraved in my mind. We have moved on from that though and we are now focusing our energy on the upcoming game against Orlando Pirates,” said Jambo who will turn 22 on 23 August 2009.

“This is a biggest game especially for the supporters and it is very important for us that we prepare well as we are playing a top team. This is a kind of game that can make you or break you with supporters so we are not taking anything for granted going to this game. The past result does not count for anything and we will have to be on top our game to beat them,” warned the Zimbabwean.

Jambo told kaizerchiefs.com that he is fully fit after watching from the sidelines due to injury, “It is always frustrating when you are injured but I am glad that I am back playing now. I am going to continue working hard and grab every opportunity that the Technical Team give to me,” added the former Gunners defender who has been capped 17 times at national team level.
