Having pleaded guilty and subsequently been found guilty by the club’s Disciplinary Committee on all charges preferred against him, Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Jabu Pule is fined one month’s wages and is suspended for a period of one month, without pay.

Pule must attend all matches and activities where he is called upon to attend. In the event that Pule fails to attend any club activity for a minimum of two occasions the club may terminate his contract.

“I accept the outcome of the DC and happy that this thing is over now so I could concentrate on rebuilding my career again,” were Pule’s brief words after the pronouncement of the verdict to him.

Further more, the club having had regard to prevailing circumstances has appointed a committee to investigate psycho-social issues affecting the club’s players.

The committee is tasked to begin immediately with the following:

  • Investigate all Pule’ social problems relating to the player’s family background.

  • Engage his family members on issues that impact on the player’ social and spiritual instability,

  • Deal with all immediate issues regarding the welfare of players and/or submit any further recommendations to the club’s management.

    This committee will comprise of the following:

  • Club Director - China Ngema

  • Team Manager - Bobby Motaung

  • Communications Manager - Putco Mafani

  • Administration Manager - Abdulla Mayet

  • Head of Security & Logistics - Thami Myaluza
