The MTN8 Cup pits the top eight teams of the PSL against each other in this knockout tournament where the winner takes a grand first prize of R8 million.



A draw to decide who will play at home or away was held at the MTN headquarters on Monday.



The captains of the participating teams were requested to attend, but only Free State Stars skipper Duncan Lechesa and Ajax Cape Town’s Brett Evans were not present.



Ajax is in Holland on a pre-season tour while Stars are also occupied with rigorous preparations for the new season.

The 2008/09 league champs SuperSport United take on AmaZulu away.



SuperSport captain Ricardo Katza made the draw for the two-time league champs and will travel to Durban to face Usuthu.



League runners-up Orlando Pirates will host Ajax Cape Town who came seventh.Pirates holding midfielder Benson Mhlongo made the lucky draw for the Soweto giant.



The other Soweto giant also got the luck of the draw. Kaizer Chiefs, who won the MTN8 last season, will face Bidvest Wits at home. Skipper Jimmy Tau got the advantage for his side.



Free State Stars, who finished fourth last season, is at home to Golden Arrows.
