Wednesday the 22nd April 2009, marks the 4th chapter of South Africa’s democratic elections. On Wednesday South Africans will go to the polling stations to cast their votes for political parties of their choice.

“To vote is every South African’s right. I therefore wish to encourage all South Africans, our supporters in particular, to exercise this right. We wish all the parties success in the 2009 National and Provincial elections” said Kaizer Chiefs Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Kaizer Motaung.

As a result of the elections, the PSL had to move all fixtures initially scheduled to take place on the 22nd April 2009.

These fixtures include a mouth-watering clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Amakhosi will now lock horns with Sundowns on Thursday, the 23rd April 2009, in Durban’s ABSA Stadium at 19h30. Tickets are already selling well at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers countrywide.
