Amakhosi midfielder Abia Nale has embarked on a number of social projects where he tried to help make a difference in the lives of a range of members of the community.

Speaking to kaizerchiefs.com about his social undertakings which he hopes will make a lasting impact Nale on the beneficiaries of the projects he explained saying, “I have undertaken to try my utmost to assist various projects in and around the Vaal area of Gauteng where I come from.

I feel that as one of the persons from my community who was able to pursue my dreams, it is important for me to invest some time and resources into giving others a chance to improve their circumstances. Not just monetarily but through educational and other projects as well.”

Nale further gave details of the projects that he was involved in saying, “one of the places I work with is the Tshonolong Centre for Children with special needs.

These kids have great potential and just need someone to show them that they love them and the people at the home do a great job and I am glad to be associated with such a project.

Also there is the Vukusele home for the aged which I work with, during the few days that we had off during the festive break I spent time there and with the help of some donors we managed to give the residence of the home presents.

I enjoy visiting there and spending time talking to the elderly as they too need some company, most of the time the topic revolves around football.”

Nale will be hoping to make a visit to the Vukusele home on the weekend once he returns from Cape Town where Chiefs will be in action against Ajax on Friday evening.

The midfielder who came on as a substitute late on in the game against Sundowns this past Saturday is ready to take on the Urban Warriors and hopes to play an influential part in the game regardless of the amount of time he spends on the pitch.

As he concluded his discussions with kaizerchiefs.com saying, “ personally anytime that I play I value, it is not about how long I am on the field it is all about how willing I am to and if I can make a difference when I get onto the field.

Hopefully I can play my part for the team on Friday if the opportunity comes my way.”
