Muhsin Ertugral believes the return back to action of defender, Dominic Isaacs will boost the team in this crucial stage of the season.

The former Ajax Cape Town man joined the Glamour Boys early this season but was forced to wait for eight months due to injury. He was thrown into the deep end by coach Ertugral against Free State Stars last Saturday.

“Domza” as the player is affectionately known in football circles did not disappoint as he marshalled the defence alongside hard tackling, Valery Nahayo with distinction.

“He played as if he has been playing the whole season, can you imagine if we had had his services from the start?” that was the Turkish's response on his impressions about Isaacs performance in the goalless draw against Free State Stars.

“Dominic is a true professional who is dedicated to his game. He is world class and definitely one of the top defenders in the country. Before he got injured he was knocking at the Bafana Bafana door. I have no doubt in my mind that he is going to give us the much-needed steel at the back with the few games to go.

"He is not showing any signs of rustiness and this is good for the team,” said Muhsin adding that he was impressed by the partnership between Dominic Isaacs and Valery Nahayo.

“They complimented each other very well and hopefully their combination can grow from strength to strength. I think now we are very solid at the back with the likes of Thabang Rooi, Jonathan Quartey and Jimmy Tau waiting on the wings,” he concluded.
