Lincolin Zvasiya is unknown to many like his former teammate at Aces Academy, Knowledge Musona when he joined the Club as a teenager back in 2009.

He spoke to kaizerchiefs.com about his ambitions as a Glamour Boy.



Kaizerchiefs.com: Welcome to the Family!



Lincolin Zvasiya: Thank you…it is an honour for me to have joined one of the biggest Clubs in the continent.



Kaizerchiefs.com: Many people do not know Lincolin Zvasiya…



Lincolin Zvasiya: (Laughing) I am just a young boy born in Harare, Zimbabwe back in 1991. I started my football career as a defender at Aces Academy. I played as a defender until about 2009 when I was moved to the central midfield.

I have also played for Monamotapa United and FC Platinum. I am also honoured now to be playing for the national team. It is such a great honour to represent my country at the highest level.



Kaizerchiefs.com: Aces has produced quite number of good players…



Lincolin Zvasiya: Yes, while at the Academy I had an opportunity to play with the likes of Knowledge Musona who did well here at Chiefs.

I also played with Kama Billiat who is at Ajax Cape Town and goalkeeper, George Chigora who is at TP Mazembe.



I learnt a lot at Aces Academy about discipline, dedication and the importance of hard work. I am forever grateful to the coaches that I worked with during my stay there.



Kaizerchiefs.com: What kind of a player is Lincolin Zvasiya?



Lincolin Zvasiya: He is a player that can play both at the back and in the middle. He is powerful. He can win the play the ball.



Kaizerchiefs.com: You must be delighted to have signed for one of the biggest teams in the continent…



Lincolin Zvasiya: It is a dream come true for me to have joined such a big club. I spoke briefly to Knowledge Musona about the Club. He wished me all the best.



We are obviously encouraged by what he achieved at the Club in the short space of time.

Knowledge has always been someone who is very focused in life. He sets his goals and achieves them and that is why I listen when he speaks. I would like to wish him all the best in Germany.



Kaizerchiefs.com: What are you hoping to achieve at Chiefs during your stay?



Lincolin Zvasiya:
I want to win the league title and many trophies with the Club. I am going to work hard and when I get an opportunity to play I am going to grab it with both hands.
