The Vodacom Challenges might have come and gone but it has left casualties at Naturena ahead of the Telkom Charity Tournament this weekend.

Kaizer Motaung Jr who showed glimpses of his old form during the Challenge will be out for six weeks according to Club Physio, David Milner.

"Kaizer (Motaung Jr) tore his ligaments and it will take about six weeks for him to recover. Tshepo Bulu has also been ruled out for this weekend's fixture for a couple of weeks after hurting his ankle last week. He should resume training in ten days time. Both Siphelele Mthembu and Jose Torrealba will need a late fitness test on Friday before we know of their availability for the Saturday’s game," said Milner.

Kaizer Chiefs coach, Muhsin Ertugral and the rest of the technical team will have to keep their fingers crossed for both Jose Torrealba and Siphelele Mthembu to be fit ahead of the popular one day tournament.

Kaizer Chiefs renew acquaintances with rivals Sundowns in what has been termed by many as "The final before the final ".
