Muhsin Ertugral will be aiming for his team to carry on from where they left off in midweek when easily disposing of Golden Arrows 4-2, in an ABSA Premier League match played in Tshwane on Wednesday evening.

When his team line up against Bloemfontein Celtic at the Seisa Ramabodu Stadium, for a gigantic league clash on Sunday afternoon, as the Amakhosi face third placed Bloemfontein Celtic who come into this game off the back of a 2-0 win away from home against Jomo Cosmos a few days ago.

For Chiefs there are three changes all of which are injury related which obviously does not please Ertugral, but he has stuck with the successful 4-5-1 formation that was implemented during the win over Arrows.

McCarthy in for Spencer

In a some what bizarre twist of fate Chiefs have lost a player in each out field department with, Derrick Spencer being the first casualty as he was substituted midway during the first half of the Arrows game with a hamstring problem. Spencer’s replacement on Wednesday Fabian McCarthy impressed Muhsin Ertugral with his display of hard, tough, tackling and also able to create a formidable presence at the back that display has helped him hold on to his place in the starting eleven for the Celtic game.

Double change

Chiefs are also without Arthur Zwane and Mabhudi Khenyeza, the former injuring himself while trying to clear the ball when Arrows managed to find a first half equalizer on Wednesday.

With Onismor Bhasera returning to action at left back as he comes back from a two match suspension, David Obua has been moved up to midfield and will play along side Siphiwe Tshabalala on the left wing. Khenyeza who come on as a substitute on Wednesday took a battering from former team mate Bheka Phakati and as a result has a swollen ankle and has to sit out Sunday’s match.

Defenders Jimmy Tau and Ditheko Mototo come back into the game day eighteen, while Sandile Zuke has been left out of the team.
