Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Siphiwe Tshabalala has expressed his disappointment for missing the upcoming game against his former team, Free State Stars this coming weekend.

“Shabba” who has started all the games since the beginning of the season is out due to suspension.

“I want to play each and every game the team plays”, said Siphiwe on his arrival for Friday afternoon training session at the Club headquarters in Naturena.

“When this season started my aim was to feature in all the games this season having struggled in other season due to injuries. I am disappointed that I am sitting out for what is a very important fixture against my former team, Free State Stars.

They owe us after we lost to them back in December. I will be supporting the guys from the stands,” said Tshabalala.

Tshabalala was back at the Village after returning with Bafana Bafana squad back from Europe on Thursday where they lost 2-0 to highly rated Portugal.

“We went to the game confident after winning the Mandela Challenge last Saturday but it was not to be as we lost the game. I think we played well on Tuesday against a very talented side. We just have to pick ourselves up for Confederations Cup in June,” he added.
