I have my confidence back - Yende

Mthokozisi Yende admitted to kaizerchiefs.com that he had lost a bit of confidence early in the season due to lack of game time.

Things have changed though for the Tembisa-born player who made four appearances in the last six games. He might even see more action following the absence of midfield duo, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Siphiwe Tshabalala.

“It was a bit tough when I was not getting some game time and I struggled to get my rhythm,” said Yende.

“When you do not play as a player sometimes you tend to lose confidence and it was the case with me. I am feeling good now. The coach has given me some game time in the past couple of games. My confidence is back and I hope to do more for the Club.”

Yende who found the back of the net on regular basis for his previous side, University of Pretoria said it will not be long before opening his account for Amakhosi.

“I have featured in different positions for the team which has contributed in me not getting into goal scoring positions like I did with my previous team.

At times when we were attacking, I would be a second or two late in terms of joining the guys in the box. We have been working on this at training and hopefully with my confidence back, it will not be long before I open my account,” he added.
