Lawrence ‘Spanner’ Molekwane has vowed to bounce back stronger following the injury that has ruled him out since early October.

The Polokwane born defender and a product of Club’s development program was ruled out for six following a sterling display in his first appearance this season against Black Leopards in front of his home crowd at Peter Mokaba Stadium.

“It is not the first time that something like this has happened to me. I get a chance and then get injured. It is part of the game.

“I have a heart of a lion and already I have put this behind me and my focus is on rehabilitation. All has been going well credit to our medical team,” said Molekwane speaking to kaizerchiefs.com at Kaizer Chiefs Village on Thursday morning.

“I have learnt to be strong both as a player and a person. I am also grateful of the support I received from my teammates and everyone associated with the team.

Molekwane is looking at starting afresh again, “We are left with few games before the end of the year. I have two weeks before I can start light training.

I will be working throughout the festive season and when we return for the preseason in January. I hope to be competing for a place in the team when the league program resumes in February after the Africa Cup of Nations.

“I am positive about getting another chance as long as I keep working hard. I will bounce back stronger and that is all I can promise the supporters.
