Here we go again

Six matches, 18 points on offer and the trophy will rest comfortably in our offices in Naturena. By the way, we have been on this road before as history has a habit of repeating itself.

During recess our lads have shown determination when they returned triumphant from the Peter Mokaba tournament in Limpopo.

Defeating Wits and SuperSport United on the same date was not an easy feat. Going on to do well against Platinum Stars was just enough to prepare our boys for the tough matches ahead.

While the Technical Team was at its best to prepare the team, our Supporters Crew was also at the game to reach out to our members. The Bolobedu Community in Limpopo stretched their meagre resources to welcome our crew as we set to launch their hard-earned branch.

About 200 peace-loving people gathered in the community hall to celebrate the official launch of the Bolobedu branch after many months of dedicated recruiting and winning people’s love.

The preparation and organisation of the event was lavish, with a programme that also featured the office of the local municipality and mayoral committee.

Amazingly, the branch had also invited supporters from big-name opposition teams in a show of friendship and a spirit of sportsmanship and brotherhood. Food was plentiful and so was the camaraderie of a people that had assembled to meet head-office personnel for the first time.

Apart from the launch, the crew also hosted hundreds of supporters during the launch of the Amakhosi Energy Drink at the Sammy Marks Square in Tshwane. The recruitment went ahead without any hindrance.

On Sunday, the famous Panyaza’s Place in White City Jabavu assumed a corporate role when it hosted our partners, NISSAN, to put on display of their latest models. Our KCTV and Supporters Crew added flair to the occasion.

While patrons enjoyed themselves, our business of explaining the importance of our membership offerings went ahead without any hassle.

Earlier that day, the PR office addressed a meeting of supporters in Sebokeng Zone 16 on procedures to be followed before the launch of the branch.

All these and many other plans have been designed to strengthen our relationships with our supporters so that we collectively join hands in assisting the team to perform well in all the remaining six matches.

In addition, we are pursuing our journey to celebrate our 40 years throughout the year. I hope all our branches will mobilise their members to turn out in full support of the team to end the season on a high.

Thank you for your support and may we spread a spirit of love and peace at all times.

See you at all our matches!
