Nkosinathi Nhleko has attributed the recent turn of events to ‘hard work’. This was after the Club registered their second consecutive win against Ajax Cape Town.

The Glamour Boys have not only been winning games but they have displayed breathtaking football and Ajax Cape Town were lucky to escape with only 3-0 after the Amakhosi dominated the match from start to finish.

‘Chippa’ who seems to be playing his best football under the tutelage of coach, Vladimir Vermezovic collected the ‘Man of the Match’ award against Ajax Cape Town having won the same award the previous week against Jomo Cosmos.

“It’s about teamwork,” he told kaizerchiefs.com on Monday morning.

“I do not think we were playing badly at all when we were not winning games. I think it was just that luck was eluding us. Now we have been luckier and the hard work to me is paying off. The spirit in the camp is very high at this stage and we hope to continue like this,” he said.

Chiefs, following the 3-0 win on Sunday have moved to seventh position in the league. They will now travel to Pretoria for a highly charged fixture against Mamelodi Sundowns on October 17.
