Football Manager, Bobby Motaung celebrated his birthday on Friday, 10 July 2009. Affectionately known as “Bob-Steak” in the football circles, Bobby is currently in Bloemfontein with the rest of the squad ahead of the crunching friendly match against three time Asian Champions, Iran.

Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung wished his colleague and brother Bobby all the best on his birthday, “ Bobby, Happy Birthday! Take pride in who you are and all that you‘ve become, and let your vibrant and energetic spirit continue to shine. In celebration for his birthday, Amakhosi magazine readers get to know more about the Club’s dashing Football Manager in an depth interview where he regards himself as a ‘competent midfielder’ during his days as he turned out for the Clubs U-15s and U-17s.

“I was still skinny those days. My coaches were respectively “Tikkie” Khoza and AB Matseng.”

Former Kaizer Chiefs left back, Gardner Searle also a product of Club’s development structures likened Bobby with a former Brazil star, Cerezo.
