‘VV’, as the coach is affectionately known in football circles, is currently serving a one-match suspension and, although he will be allowed in the dressing room before the match, at halftime and after the game, he will not be allowed to sit on the bench.

“Ace Khuse will be on the bench against Santos. I do not think that will have any impact on how we play on the day as we both share the same philosophy in coaching,” said Vermezovic.
