Amakhosi coach Muhsin Ertugral has made four alterations to his team from the one that defeated BidVest Wits in midweek, with three of the changes affecting the midfield positions.

Amongst the coaches changes, he has Ditheko Mototo coming in to replace Siphiwe Tshabalala, and has opted to play Mototo on the left side of midfield, while David Obua, who impressed while scoring a spectacular goal against Wits after coming off the bench against the students, has been given a starting berth for Saturday evenings match with SuperSport.

Derrick Spencer is still out injured with a hamstring problem which means that Fabian McCarthy retains his place in the starting line up; while Jonathan Quartey makes a return to action after being out since September through injury he takes the place of the suspended Moketi Tostetsi.

Obua change

David Obua made the biggest impact on Wednesday evening after coming on as a second half substitute; the Ugandan international capped a fine display by scoring a fantastic goal from distance. That perhaps has seen him start on Saturday against SuperSport in a central midfield role, given that he has a keen eye for goal Ertugral will be hoping that he can again get amongst the goals. Obua takes the place of David Mathebula in the starting eleven.

Quartey comeback

Jonathan Quartey, who went under the surgeon’s knife on a number of occasions over the past couple of months, finally gets some reprieve and makes his long awaited return to match action. The Ghana junior international will be playing alongside Fabian McCarthy at the back in place of Moketi Tsotetsi, who is serving a one match ban for picking up his third yellow card during the win over Wits. While Ditheko Mototo takes the role as something of an experimental left winger in place of Siphiwe Tshabalala, and Gerald Sibeko another of the substitutes on Wednesday is favoured instead Arthur Zwane who made his 200th appearance for The Amakhosi during the Wits encounter.
