Kaizer Chiefs, in partnership with Standard Bank, have organised a five-a-side tournament scheduled for the Rand Show’s Main Arena starting on Thursday, March 31 to Friday, April 1.

According to the club’s brand manager, Vivian Casaletti, 10 teams have confirmed their interest in participation in what should be a fun-filled event for everyone taking part as well as those who will be watching from the sidelines.

The winner of the competition will walk away with a R5000 cheque plus a trophy, while the runners-up will pocket R3000 as well as trophy. Those who finish third will get a R1000 plus a trophy.

Eight players per team

No Off-side

No throw-ins

Rolling substitutions

Three corners = a penalty

Action soccer

Outs – ball is played from where is went out

Please bring your own kit and boots

Each team will be drawn in a group

Top of each group will go to semis and final

Each team will play a minimum of 3 games in the first round

Each game is of 20 minutes in total
