Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Rowen Fernandez received his second national call-up in a row when he was included in the Bafana Bafana squad for the 2006 World Cup and Nations Cup qualifier against DR Congo in Kinshasa on September 5.

Fernandez was in the Bafana squad that won 2-0 against African champions Tunisia last week. He was introduced in the second half and commanded his area with authority to impress the Bafana coach.

Former Amakhosi forward Siyabonga Nomvete will lead the attack along with Sweden-based Thando Mngomeni and Port striker Benni McCarthy.
