Safa announced on Monday that Kaizer Chiefs' goalkeeper Rowen Fernadez and Moneeb Josephs of Ajax Cape Town have joined the Bafana Bafana camp prior to their departure to Ghana.



Fernandez has been drafted as replacement for injury Ajax Amsterdam keeper, Hans Vonk.



Bafana and Ghana will meet for the 2006 World Cup and African Cup of Nations qualifier at the Kumasi Sports Ground in Ghana on June 20.



"Hans Vonk's team Heerenveen wrote a letter stating that Vonk had complained about his right Achilles tendon and after medical examination, he was advised to rest," said Safa.



Bafana's preparation starts on Tuesday at the Sandton Crowne Plaza.



Their first training session will be at FNB Stadium from 15h45. The Team departs on Saturday morning, 19 June for Kumasi.
