12 October 2011, Chiefs Village, Naturena: Executive Chairman, Kaizer Motaung has clarified his position in relation to reports that quoted him on Tuesday morning saying that, SAFA does not know the rules following the ‘elimination’ of Bafana Bafana after a goalless qualifying round draw against Sierra Leone in Nelspruit on Saturday, 08 October 2011.

Kaizer Motaung said; “Organisationally speaking, and from the administration and technical point of view, not enough homework was done.

“Watching the game on Saturday, you could see that the team seemed happy to come back with a draw instead of coming back with a win like the Coach mentioned during the week.

“I question the appropriateness of challenging the rule after the event whether we have a case or not. However if the SAFA legal team believes that there is a case I will of course support that move.
