Tunisian champions Esperance arrived at the Johannesburg International Airport at 09H50

on Wednesday, 20 April 2005 in high spirits following their 4-0 goal advantgae over their

hosts Kaizer Chiefs in Tunisia a fortnight ago.

Head of Delegation, Mr. Amor Farouk Gharbi of the Federation of Tunisia de Football

talking to the media through an enterpreter, said they were excited to be in South Africa

with their country's champions, Esperance, ready to show what they did two weeks ago in

Tunis was no fluke.

He is seen in the picture with Mr. Abdulla Mayet Admin Manager at Kaizer

Chiefs and the club's PRO Putco Mafani.

The Tunisians moved straight to Rustenburg where they will be based to finalize their

preparations for the all time important clash with their hosts. They will be stationed at

the Orion Hotel in Rustenburg and will be training at the Rustenburg sports complex until

Friday when they will conduct their final preparations at the Olympia Park stadium, the

venue of the game.

The game is scheduled for Saturday, 23 April 2005 at 3:15pm and tickets are on sale at

all computicket outlets, the Spar Supermarket in Tlhabane and Radio Mafisa.

In

the second picture Esperance goalkeeper Hamdi Kasraoui (who will be wearing jersey #1)

poses for a picture with fellow team mate, Guizani Muhammid (20).

It is common knowledge that the South African football fans are furius at recent

reports about controversial penalties awarded to the Tunisians a fortnight ago such that

they will go to Rustenburg to cheer up the locals for another feast of goals from the

Amakhosi players which, is the only answer to keep the South Africans in the competition.

If Esperance go through, then Amakhosi will play Muhsin Ertugral's Ismaili in the

Confederation Cup but if Chiefs go through by scoring 5 goals it will be a Tunisian/Egyptian affair

in the Confederation Cup.

Love and Peace!
