Kaizer Chiefs coach, Muhsin Ertugral jetted off to Germany early this week to attend a coaching Conference in Frankfurt. The focal point of the course would be to analyze the recent Euro 2008 and to look at the latest trends of the international football. The Conference is hosted under the auspices of German Football Association (GFA).

The Kaizer Chiefs mentor is the only coach in the ABSA Premiership who was been invited to attend the Conference where he joins other coaches around the world including the German national team coach, Joachim Loew.

"Following the Euro 2008 coaches around the world, we are meeting here to analyze what transpired during the tournament and to discuss the latest trends of the international football ahead of the World Cup 2010. We are dealing with various topics on a daily basis on issues that relate to medical, scientific trends in the modern game and today we will have among the speakers, Schalke 04 coach Fred Rutten.

"Yesterday we also had to analyse winners of the Euro 2008, Spain and the finalists Germany. The German under-19 side are the 2008 champions of the Uefa European under-19 tournament, so we will look at that as well. We do not only have international coaches attending the conference but league coaches as well. It is important for the success of international football that these trends get implemented on a daily basis in our leagues."

Muhsin will be back in the country on Thursday in time for the crunch fixture against rivals, Mamelodi Sundowns in Mafikeng on Saturday.
