Kaizer Chiefs mentor, Muhsin Ertugral expressed his delight this week after striker Abia Nale left the field without any pain following the goalless draw against AmaZulu in Durban last weekend.

Affectionately known to Kaizer Chiefs faithful as “Soul Provider”, Abia Nale only joined his teammates at training on Friday ahead of the game over the weekend. This was after he was substituted against Bloemfontein Celtic on the weekend of the 14th February.

On Tuesday, the Vaal born striker resumed training with his teammates at the Club’s headquarters in Naturena.

“I never want to take risks on players,” Ertugral told kaizerchiefs.com.

“Nale had a tear in his muscle against Bloemfontein Celtic and we pulled him off. He did not train almost the whole week ahead of the AmaZulu game and that is why he started the game on the bench.

I am happy that when he came on he did not show any signs of discomfort and came through without a pain after the game.

“He is a very important player in our squad and I am happy he will be 100% fit ahead of the game against SuperSport United on Saturday,” he concluded.
