Kaizer Chiefs coach, Muhsin Ertugral revealed on Saturday after the game that he is banking on injured Dominic Isaacs to turn things around for the team. The Glamour Boys have conceded a total of 19 goals this season and were once again let down by poor defending on Saturday as they allowed Platinum Stars to equalise after being 2-0 down.

“Blame me not the players,” said the visibly disappointed Ertugral after the game.

“If you take time and have a look at the teams I have coached you will see that defensively we are always tight. Defensive organisation is very important to me and we work on this at training. Today things did not go the way we had planned. We will go back to training after the Christmas recess to rectify our mistakes,”

The coach admitted that he misses a player of Dominic Isaac’s calibre. “Domza” has been struggling with an injury since joining the Club at the beginning of the season.

“We are keeping our fingers crossed for him to recover. He is making a huge progress and I can’t wait to have him available for selection. He knows though that he will have to fight for his place. Mokete Tsotetsi came in and did well for us on Saturday. I worked with Dominic at my previous club and I believe that he is definitely going to add value into this team,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dominic Isaacs has revealed to kaizerchiefs.com that his troublesome muscle has now healed and he will start full training with the team early January.

“I am desperatea to play. I want to be out there and fight with the boys,” he said.
