Here we go again, as fast as we scored five goals against Free State Stars so has the victory quickly slipped out of the minds of the media with every one turning with lightening speed to our next outing which is on Saturday against Orlando Pirates.

I would firstly like t go back a bit and talk about the encounter against Free State Stars and although the victory was an emphatic one we could have scored more goals. We might have won 5-2 in my opinion it should have been more like 7 or eight goals for us, the important thing is that ahead of facing the current league leaders we did gain a confidence booster that is very welcome.

Against Stars we attacked with purpose and every time we went forward we got some kind of reward out of it, David Radebe was always going to be motivated going into this game especially as it was going to be against his former team. He finally got some goals under his belt this season which was nice for him and he really took his chances well and was unfortunate not to have had a hat trick.

Kaizer Motaung Junior got in amongst the goals for a young striker getting goals in any way is always going to help build his confidence and help him move onwards and get more goals. Up front we got things right at the back I feel we went to sleep and conceded to goals that we should have defended against, players need to remain focused for the entire game. You can forgive them perhaps in this instance but they do need to guard against complacency, maybe at 4-0 most of the players were already thinking of Pirates.

We might have beaten Pirates at the end of October; the truth is that they are still the favourites to win on Saturday. Pirates put behind them a run of a few bad games and have started winning again which is not altogether good news for those chasing behind them. For us the job on Saturday is a simple one, to get the three points and keep up the pressure on Pirates and stay in the top three till the end of the year.

Pirates are also under a lot of pressure, they though still have a world class team with some excellent players, who will obviously be looking to try and avenge the defeat inflicted on them in October. This time around we are more confident than we were in October at that time too much pressure had been put on the team prior to the game. We are happy with our under dogs tag as it will bring out the best in us, Pirates have a quality squad and so do we. We have been playing exciting football in recent times and just need to find our discipline at the back which has eluded us in the past couple of games and every thing will be fine.
