Having always concentrated on building for the future with its firm policies on youth development, Wednesday morning heralded in what could ultimately be a unique and historical chapter in the history of Kaizer Chiefs - the club landed a formidable striking partnership, with marketing manager Jessica Motaung sticking to her promise of finding the next generation of strikers for Chiefs.

With all the revelry aside, Wednesday morning was when Jessica Motaung gave birth to a set of twin boys at a private clinic in Johannesburg.

The Amakhosi marketing manager continued to work tirelessly throughout her pregnancy.

She was part of the clubs’ management meeting and no one expected her to give birth so soon.

“Yesterday she was moving through the office carrying on with her normal duties as well as sitting through a lengthy management meeting. Today she has gone through the ultimate challenge of child birth, Jessica truly is an amazing person,” commented Chiefs brand manager Dara Carroll.

A tired but gleaming Amakhosi marketing manager said a few hours after giving birth: “I am glad that the twins are healthy and for now all I can think about is spending time with the twins”.

All the staff, directors and players at Kaizer Chiefs would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Jessica and her partner Ken Simmons on this truly joyous occasion as two new lives enter their home.
