The award which was inaugurated last season and won by David Obua will be handed out to the player receiving the most number of votes cast on the Kaizer Chiefs website, at the clubs annual player’s awards to be held on the 21st May.

Voting for the May player of the month will conclude at midnight on Tuesday (15-05-07), with voting for the online player of the year commencing there after and will end at midnight Wednesday (16-05-07).

Players up for the award will be those who received the monthly player of the month poll on the website, at present two of the players up for the award are Kaizer Motaung Junior and Scara Ngobese with a third player joining them on the shortlist once the May votes close on Tuesday evening.
