Kaizer Chiefs can confirm that former Chiefs midfielder and current coach of the Kaizer Chiefs U-17 team Doctor Khumalo, was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Sunday morning and is currently recovering under observation in a private clinic in Johannesburg.

Speaking to kaizerchiefs.com Amakhosi team manager Bobby Motaung explained, “we did get confirmation that Doctor Khumalo was involved in an accident on Sunday at the moment we do not know the specific details of the accident. We do know that Doctor is in hospital and that he has been under observation for a few hours already, once we learn more of his situation we will make the information public”.
